Coinbase looks to expand in Europe – Bloomberg News

June 29 (Reuters) – Cryptocurrency trade Coinbase International Inc (COIN.O) has renewed aim on its expansion in Europe and is in the course of action of registering in marketplaces such as Italy, Spain, France and the Netherlands, Bloomberg News noted on Wednesday.

“In all these marketplaces our intention is to have retail and institutional items,” the report quoted Nana Murugesan, Coinbase’s vice president of organization progress and global, as saying in an interview. (https://bloom.bg/3a1gS7J)

The firm is already registered in the United Kingdom, Eire and Germany, and lately hired its very first employee in Switzerland, Murugesan stated.

Coinbase did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for a remark.
